I bought one of these in autumn 2002, so that I can bring my own freshly brewed coffee at work trying to break my $ 3. 50-days Great habit skimmed milk. At first my wife was dubious, but my plan of work: this little gem has paid for itself four or five times.

    (1) Size very comfortable. It fits nicely into my suitcase, which is * not * particularly spacious inside. It will probably in most cases similar, except, of course, for those who “portfolio” style bags with only an inch or so of space for documents.

    (2) keeps the coffee hot all day. I make a pot of coffee in the morning until 7 or 8 hours, then get to my office and start drinking at about 9. Coffee stays warm and cozy as late as 6 or 7 at night. (and probably even later than never … I just had to find, because I want to drink caffeine later than one business day) following the signs for “glow” from the inside with hot water before use, not is really necessary, but I found that gives the coffee a little ‘heat extra “kick” when I do it.

    (3) Easy to clean. I found the cap in stainless steel finish Poly / cup are easy to manage. Most of the time, simply rinse under hot water are sufficient. Sometimes I used a kitchen sponge for a few seconds to clean the cap and the child, but seldom really necessary.

Abstract: This thermos has done exactly what I needed to do, it is easy to care, and probably pay for itself if you use it instead of making trips to the corner coffeeshop. There are other bottles out there that might be preferable for the food / soup, or its contents could keep warmer if you plan to leave the bottle for days at a time before drinking its contents. But for ordinary use, as I described above, this thing is great and I’m glad I bought it.

When I bought this bottle I had high expectations because they already have a similar program, and after having obtained much more of the same type of army. Nissan Travel Companion met my expectations completely. It keeps the coffee hot for 48 hours if you need and leave full-time. The weather deteriorated from there to about 8 hours if you drink the contents. If you fill the bottle with hot water, let stand for a few minutes to warm up inside the bottle, then fill it with your coffee, it stays warm until you leave full and closed. Seems stupid, but try.

most of the time I really want to drink my coffee before the day is over and the thermos works well for this. I make a pot (7 cups FIT) in the morning, rinse the bottle with very hot water and drink my coffee all day. Is very high for most of the day in the evening. If one or two cups remain at the end of the day, will not stay warm in the morning. Only works for more than a day if you leave everything open, and not open it until you want to drink.

The bottle is well done. I had almost 6 months and use every day. I do not use even on the weekend so you can turn off the coffeepot. Keeps the fresh coffee and just as hot as letting the heating of the burner.

recommend this thermos (or any other stainless steel cylinder) for coffee, tea or hot water. Add your cream and sugar or whatever concepts. Empty bottles are not dishwasher safe and it is dangerous to put food in it because it will not be able to get completely clean. Coffee and tea can be washed with ease.

Summary. Keeps liquids hot for about 8 hours of normal use. Up to 48 hours of storage in total. Try very resistant and drip. Not dishwasher safe, and should not be used with stock, cream, milk or sugar.

Conclusion. It is the day old coffee still “old days”, if it is still hot?

    Nissan Gets It Right

Travel the thermos keeps hot liquids than any other similar containers that I owned. What is happening here with this thermos that has attracted more than 40 (Rave mostly) comments? How to stay hot hot and keep cold. . . cold?

    * There is a wall of solid steel double, but it is lightweight and portable.

    * A screw snug on the CAP (which also serves as a container of about six ounces)

    * A smaller – but still 26 ounces – volume (legs against old children are accustomed) Help to maintain the temperature.

    * This is the real deal. Six hours later and the coffee is still hot, the next day and is at least warmer than room temperature.

Preheat and screw-Tight. No, this is not a song by Archie Bell and Drells. Only a few tricks to get the most out of your thermos.

    * Preheat the thermos by filling with hot water before filling with hot drinks, because in contrast to the cold. This helps contians do his job, and only takes a few seconds. However, there is no need for a hot (or cold water – do not forget the cold drink!)

    * Please be sure to tighten cover the whole road. I lost a few pounds, with a container that I mistakenly thought was sealed. My bad it’s easy to quit, just do not rush.

    ‘practical, too.
    * Light, smaller size make it ideal for the backpack when hiking and mountain biking. Furthermore, the reduction of weight and slim design makes this easy to use, even without the handle on the thermos Nissan more traditional, but heavier.

    Problems.
    * None. I had no problems with odors, cleaning, or something with that. A perfect gift item, and assessed as reliable as your favorite drink.

I was quite disappointed with many similar models, which do not seem to work well, although when I had no idea of travel as a good “thermos” should be. I thought that all these “ammunition” style insulated bottles have done the same thing, but apparently not.

The thermos cover my trip is in progress and have been on the market for a new and accidentally ran into the reviews of Amazon. I could not believe the claims. But it was logical, given the “clone” a half-bottle cost 1/3rd the price of steel Nissan, perhaps clones were also made to similar standards.
< , br /> I tried models like Starbucks, Dicks Sporting Goods, and cooking supplies store and no one could keep hot liquids 4 hours passed, much less hot. They all came with the jets of fantasy, a spring pop-ups or Insta-Open imagines that all broke within 1-2 years and have been very difficult to clean [the coffee in the mechanisms of the spring was not cleaned without removing the user gutter repair]. What happened to a cap as simple as the CAP?

I was surprised by Nissan. The use is for travel, weight and size is important, while a slightly larger and heavier liquids _hot_ maintaining at least 8 hours or more was much more important, and it does very well. It ‘was a simple screw on the CAP, which was superbly easy to clean. This is the first anniversary of my bottle and could not be happier. Dings and today many bumps he fell several times, treated without respect, because it goes through hell all day and still rocks!

Some quickie notes to help other readers:

isolation: Even if that is required is 12 hours, depending on the amount of residual liquid in the bottle. The energy of the remaining liquid is extracted more rapidly if the bottles were full. If you do not preload the bottle in boiling water for at least 10 minutes or more, the liquid is still hot the weather is. I drink in small sips “love” of coffee all day at work and with this bottle, 8 hours is the norm.

dry: for stainless steel, a simple method to remove coffee stains sodium bicarbonate, I. e. , Bicarbonate. . . Neutralizes acids and stains literally strip of stainless steel. A tablespoon added to boiling water, soak for half an hour or more [for best results, recap the bottle and leave overnight] to restore a new look with little or no scrubbing.

Someone has done their homework here. This is the best design I’ve seen yet. The thermal qualities are the same as any good bottle. However, the simple and easy to clean are fantastic. The quality of the metal inside and helps keep that look new every day. The size is perfect: just enough juice to spend a day at the office, but not so much that you can not sleep at night.

Some ingenuity has to do with CAP. Instead of having the neck of the liquid through the cap, the fluid passes around a pair of symmetrically placed opposite flat threaded part. This means that you can actually clean the Cape impossible with caps liquid flowing through themselves. The screw cap with a sweet and 1 / 8 of a turn (once you feel resistance) and is completely waterproof. If you Ham-fist and the lid, you get a loss, but short of not tight in this whole thing is a once in Java.

which heat is excellent. However, like everything, if you delete the contents of removing the thermal mass and the pressure (PV = nRT remember high school chemistry?), So it loses heat. However, even with several (3-5) to transfer my Java is still warm enough to drink to 3 W / Brew a time of 7. If I left ended the day together, it is still hot after 12, after 16 very hot and very hot to drink after 20 (which I tried in case you’re wondering).
    ;
At least my 6 thermos and by far the best.
